Movie Review: The Dukes of Hazzard

If you grew up watching the Duke boys tearing it up and driving fast you wont be disappointed. But if you think that this is the same old boys keeping with the tv series tradition you will be disappointed. The name, the car, and the characters are about the only things still the same.

Seann William Scott and Johnny Noxville did a fantastic job at portraying the modern day rebels. Although I think they could have made Bo Duke (Seann William Scott) a little less "country" but over all the two complimented each others roles very well.



Fast driving and a nice car to boot. Seann did a great job training and driving the car in the movie. The bar fight scene was great.

Jessica Simpson (Daisy) did a lot better job then I first thought she would. And for those of you curious about whether or not she could successfully pull of the Sex Symbols role you need not worry - this movie lets you see an all new side of Simpson. I can honestly say she is HOT. You can disagree all you want but damn ...



Over all not an epic movie, most likely not an award winner - BUT was very entertaining and a lot of fun to watch. Just don't go in thinking you are going to see a movie like the tv show.
