Everyone loves ninjas. The Xbox 360 has been out for quite some time now, though it still lacks some solid ninja game play on the 360. Sure you can fire up Ninja Gaiden and utilize some good old backwards compatibility, but we all want our 360’s to pump out current gen graphics. Enter Tenchu Z on the Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 Review: Call of Duty 3 |

With a war raging on in the Middle East, the Call of Duty franchise has chosen to once again bring us back to World War II. While I am not entirely sure why the war in Iraq and Afghanistan relate, I merely remind you there has been plenty of battlefields since those in Europe. Call of Duty 3’s biggest fault is that despite the next generation facelift, killing Germans has finally lost the appeal.

Xbox 360 Review: Tony Hawk's Project 8 |
|
Monday, December 04 2006 @ 12:13 AM CST 0 comments Post a comment
Odds are you have played a Tony Hawk title at some point along the franchise. The last generation primary focus of the series was to introduce Jackass style gameplay into the series and did not do a lot to advance the series. Project 8 has hit our Xbox 360 and we are mighty impressed. Gone are the pranks and welcome the new Nail the Trick mode that shows this franchise still has life left afterall.

This time around the game isn't called Double Agent for nothing. Xbox 360 Review: NCAA Football 2007 |

Friday, August 18 2006 @ 12:00 AM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
EA has long been the king of football games ever since Madden was released. Though other titles have tried to wear the crown, EA has always held strong to the #1 football franchise on consoles. In the shadow sits NCAA Football 2007, though I don’t think it will purely be known for the ability to import draft classes any longer.

Xbox 360 Review: Hitman: Blood Money |

Wednesday, June 07 2006 @ 12:00 AM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
Soon Agent 47 will be a mainstream video game character. With Vin Diesel soon to play our favorite assassin on the big screen, your mom will soon know who the guy with the bar code on the back of his head is. Hitman: Blood Money is the fourth game in the series and the first time it appears on a next-gen system. Sadly most of the game still feels last-gen.

PC Review: Half-Life 2: Episode 1 |
|
Monday, June 05 2006 @ 12:00 AM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
Half-Life and Half-Life 2 are both Game of the Year winners and have received countless awards. Their single player story telling has always been amazing in a genre where many games do not take the time to explain why you are killing everything that moves. Valve created an engrossing story and several expansions for the original that kept fans of the series always wanting more. Episode 1 has been released and so behind Half-Life episodic gameplay with three planned.

Xbox 360 Review: Rockstar Games Table Tennis |

Tuesday, May 30 2006 @ 12:00 AM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
Rockstar Games just happens to be one of those developers that don’t come along often. Gamers everywhere follow the studios releases and every one of them seems to become a blockbuster. No doubt, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis will be no different. After the massively successful Grand Theft Auto series tossed us into a life of organized crime in a huge sandbox, we return to where video games all began in the best looking game of Pong of all time!

Xbox 360 Review: X-Men: The Official Game |

X-Men: The Official Game has hit our Xbox 360 and we have to admit we are disappointed. With so much hype leading up to this games release it’s hard to remind yourself that this is a movie based video game and odds are it was already destined for failure. The game has so much positive going for it from the writing, voice acting and marketing department this was one movie tie-in we thought might actually succeed.

Xbox 360 Review: Major League Baseball 2K6 |

Before I even start to describe Major League Baseball 2K6 let me remind you I am playing the game on the patched copy to correct the freezing problems associated with the hard drive models of the Xbox 360. Even with this patch the game still suffers from random crashing and makes me wish the Xbox 360 would have more then one baseball title this year.

Xbox 360 Review: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) |
|
Monday, May 01 2006 @ 11:00 PM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
I’ll be the first to admit I stayed away from Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) for awhile now. It’s not that I don’t love the tactical shooter, but it’s been overdone. It’s not that I’m not a graphics whore, because I am. It was the hype wagon that steered me clear of trying GRAW. With the PC release coming soon though, I figured it was time for combat and I am here to report: I stayed away too long!

Kingdom of Sky just may have saved EverQuest II. With the introduction of AA’s (alternate advancement points) and PvP alone the folks at SOE are showing that they see what their community wants, and what has made World of Warcraft such a massive success.

BigBig Studios has brought us Pursuit Force for the PSP. Pursuit Force aims at giving us the most off the wall car chases and stunts from any movie, and kicking them up a notch! Your job is to leapfrog from vehicle to vehicle, take down the perps, and move onto the next vehicle rinse and repeat.

MLB ’06 The Show may just be the best baseball game to ever grace a handheld system. Not since RBI Baseball back in the day have I become so addicted to a baseball title. While overall it is not perfect, the package is delivered in such a way that you can’t help but fall in love.

Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter 2; which arcade game took more of your money? I can recall it being a tough choice on which to play. Few games have been mimicked as much as the Street Fighter series in the fighting genre and can still be spotted in even today’s fighters.

Friday, August 12 2005 @ 12:00 AM CDT 0 comments Post a comment
For years now Madden has domintated living rooms wordlwide with EA Sports number one selling franchise the Madden football series. This year 2006 brings us the life of the quarterback and also the first year of the deal between the NFLPA and EA Sports to be the exclusive game of the NFL. With this being the last Madden to appear on this generation of consoles it is exciting to see what EA has in store for us on the next platform, though it is also very frustrating.
